I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where I was nurtured in a musical family. My parents recognized my talent from an early age and encouraged me to embark on a journey of musical discovery. In elementary school, I commenced formal training in piano and vocal techniques, setting the stage for my future in music.
My passion for singing deepened during my high school years at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (DASOTA). At DASOTA, I had the privilege of participating in All-State choirs, Solo and Ensemble competitions, and even had the opportunity to share my talent overseas in Europe. These formative experiences not only honed my musical skills but also instilled in me a profound appreciation for the art of performance.
Following my high school graduation, I pursued a degree in music at Florida State University. It was during my time at FSU that I was introduced to contemporary a cappella music. I joined Reverb, a start-up, all-male a cappella group on FSU’s campus. Our journeys took us to various performances in Tallahassee and participation in well-known events in the a cappella community like SOJAM and ICCA, where our voices resonated with audiences.
My post-college years led me on diverse professional paths, with one significant chapter being my service in the United States Air Force. This experience instilled in me the values of leadership, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence. As I transitioned from military life, I found my home in West Palm Beach, Florida, with my beloved wife, Angie. I continued to share my vocal talents with the community, whether through serving as a cantor for local churches or serenading patrons in restaurants and nightclubs as a crooner.
It was during that period that I stumbled upon BitH, where I uncovered a platform that offered exceptional opportunities for singers like myself. Nearly 9 years later, through BitH I've found a stage that showcases my talents and allows me to connect with a diverse and appreciative audience. It's an honor to be part of such a storied group where my passion for music can shine, and I look forward to sharing my artistry with you for years to come.
