And Now I See:
Race, Racism, and American Music
An entertaining, informative, and eye-opening new show. Delve into the rich tapestry of African American music, spanning Spirituals, Gospel, Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop, and R&B. Gain insight into the origins, evolution, and cultural significance of each genre, tracing their influences through time. This show celebrates the immense impact of African American musicians and their music, shedding light on their influence while addressing the impact of racism on musical styles and artists alike.
Collaboration Workshop
Take your show to the next level! Local choirs of any age and experience level will learn, rehearse, and perform an a cappella arrangement alongside the band live at the concert. These are great for boosting promotion and community engagement while giving choir members the opportunity to work with a professional group, enhancing their skills in vocal!
Reviews & Recommendations
The performance was spectacular - everything I imagined and more. The accolades were numerous and effusive. Teachers, students, family, friends, strangers - all approached me or sent emails or texts to express how much they loved everything. It has been such a pleasure working with you - from planning the Concert Series tour to the workshops, to the event. Your patience, professionalism, and willingness to respond to and accommodate my endless requests.
